On Being Robots

ASSALAMU`ALAIKUM WARAHMATULLAH

You guys are lucky as hell. Ugh, boredom is a sick thing, let alone you're a fresh, raw blogger. There're so much things racing in your head, which disturb your faculty of mind to doodle something. A sentence would do. I was upgrading and updating this blog, when something smacked me right on my face. Living.

Televox

The first beneficial robot  was invented around 1920s named 'Televox' and the very first creation of an autonomous robot (robot that reacts by itself) was being raised up from the piles of scrap metal and a genius mind by W. G. Walter somewhere around 1946. It served more in showcases and merely a symbolic of ideological war.

Not long after, generations of robots turned into and exponential pace. Asimo, Geminoid DK and later Actroid raised to join the campaign. They're all no more but for aesthetic purposes and soon enough, I fear- they'll take over the house and eventually the whole world.

Geminoid DK
No, this is no fiction. Considering that computers will double its dexterity in addition to the autonomic blueprints humans have installed in them, there's no doubt that robots have what it needs to be tyrants, dominating this Earth. They're tireless and have no lifespan, there's nothing that we human can do that they couldn't.

What scares me is not that, actually. I'm not scared to some lifeless, emotionless convoluted machinery nor their manifolds of intelligence. They can go to junk yards (their hell LOL) with those. But what frightened me as a peaceful and concerned citizen of Earth is the humans' morality itself.

Will we ever fight side by side with robot?
Face it, we're reducing ourselves into a subhuman like state. Sooner than later, our generation will live emotionlessly, without any concern whatsoever to other human being, even to a stray cat. While we're chasing modernization and the struggle for freedom of speech, we're at the same time chasing ourselves out of the sphere of humanity.

Hence, we're living lower than robots. Not lifeless, just inhumane (sometimes, I really wanted to leave this Earth).
